Patient Care Tech 1

The Patient Care Tech 1 is responsible for assisting the nursing care team and performing specific duties that support patient care, which includes direct and indirect patient care activities that are essential to providing a safe environment for all patients.

Environmental Services Aide

The Environment Services Aide performs general cleaning and routine related activities, in assigned areas, according to department standards in order to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment.

Food and Nutrition Services Associate

The Food and Nutrition Services Associate provides routine support services and maintains proper sanitation of food service areas and equipment and adheres to stringent food handling procedures.

Patient Transport Aide

The Patient Transport Aide is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner.

Ability Analysts

The Short Term Absence Management Disability Analyst, quickly investigates claims to determine if the insured person qualifies for short-term / absence management benefits and works with them on a treatment plan to return to work as soon as responsibly possible. The Short Term Absence Management Disability Analyst supports our mission of helping our customers rebuild their lives after an unexpected event or illness happens while following corporate claim standards, policies and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements.

Inbound Sales Center Insurance Agent, Personal Insurance

Personal Insurance Auto and Home Agents deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet individual needs. They assess risk and guide clients confidently through coverage options. With a consultative approach, they proactively ask for the sale and skillfully navigate objections to ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative’s primary role is to provide service to policyholders and claimants. In a call center setting, they work with our customers in taking payments, making policy changes, taking new loss information, resolving/answering problems and responding to information requests.

Claims Apprentice

The Hartford's Apprenticeship Program can set you on course to earn your associate’s degree and credentials for a full-time job in our Claims department handling auto, property, or catastrophe claims in just two years.  Once you earn your associate’s degree and complete your apprenticeship, as a full-time employee of The Hartford, you can take advantage of our tuition reimbursement program by working towards your bachelor’s degree in the evenings. With the help of the American Apprenticeship Grant Initiative, you could graduate without student loans.

The Insurance Advisor Trainee position offers a fully paid 4-month training program where you'll learn to help customers find suitable insurance coverage while developing skills in customer service and sales through a structured, supportive environment. In this entry-level role, you'll handle customer calls and emails, receive ongoing coaching, and earn your Property and Casualty license (provided by the company) as you build expertise in personal insurance products across multiple carriers.

Customer Service Representative

As a Claims Support Associate, you'll assist claim professionals by handling customer inquiries, managing documentation, and processing financial transactions. This entry-level position involves building customer relationships, routing calls, updating claim files, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records while supporting the claims department's daily operations.

Police Officer

Under supervision, performs law enforcement duties involving the protection of life and property, the prevention of crime and the apprehension of crime suspects. Performs public service duties involving non-criminal calls for service, the preservation of peace and working with the community.

Maintainer I

Under close supervision, performs routine duties in the care, maintenance, and repair of streets, parks, and facilities. Also performs routine tasks and duties in the pick-up, transport, and disposal of residential, industrial, and commercial waste and recycled materials on an assigned route. May operate and monitor flood control equipment.

Administrative Assistant

Under supervision, provides increasingly responsible administrative assistance within a City department by performing routine assignments in the administration of department activities and by performing responsible professional and technical work in the operation of assigned projects or programs.

ES&T Dispatcher

This is an entry-level trainee position in the field of emergency telecommunications.  Incumbents are responsible for participating in formal classroom sessions, on-the-job training, simulation training and directed self-study in order to acquire and maintain proficiency in the knowledge and skill needed to perform the full range of tasks of an Emergency Telecommunications Operator.

Early Learning Teacher Assistant

Under supervision, provides increasingly responsible administrative assistance within a City department by performing routine assignments in the administration of department activities and by performing responsible professional and technical work in the operation of assigned projects or programs.

311 Constituent Services Representative

Under general supervision, receives and evaluates calls from the general public and from City employees requesting information or non-emergency services. 

Housing Inspector

Under supervision, to assist in the operation of a city public health program by performing systematic surveys and inspections in the promotion of housing hygiene and the conservation and rehabilitation of dwellings, by enforcing adherence to health and housing technical codes.
