Bus

CTfastrak is Connecticut’s first Bus Rapid Transit system. It is a system of bus routes that utilize a bus-only roadway for all or a portion of the trip.

Car

Hartford Parking Authority (HPA) is responsible for creating, maintaining and operating the City’s dedicated parking facilities, which include the Chapel Street Lot, Sheldon Street Lot, MAT garage and the Hartford Public Library parking deck. In addition, HPA’s on-street parking responsibilities associated with approximately 1,800 metered parking spaces in and around Downtown.

Rail

With 17 trains a day between New Haven and Hartford, and 12 of those trains continuing to Springfield, the Hartford Line quickly and easily connects you to New Haven Line service to New York City, Amtrak Northeast Corridor rail services, and Shore Line East service, as well as CT fastrak bus rapid transit service in the Hartford/New Britain area.
