All notary services MUST be in person & you MUST have two forms of identification.
Fees:
Notary seals - $5.00 (INCREASE TO $10 AFTER JULY1, 2026)
Notary Certifcates - $20
Apostille - Starting September 2, 2025, individuals needing an apostille for international adoption, studying abroad, conducting global business, or other reasons must use the Office of the Connecticut Secretary of the State’s Online Apostille Application system at sots.service.ct.gov/apostille.
All documents excluding the following:
- Power of Attorney (Except motor veichle total lost)
- Legal Matter Documents
- Documents involving Minors (Travel, custody, agreements & immigration)
