The City of Hartford shared cold weather protocol information in effect starting noon Friday and continuing into next week encouraging residents to seek warmth and shelter. Warming centers will be open starting on Friday, January 23 and has been extended until February 5th. The City is also supporting overnight warming centers, which residents can utilize throughout the week.

The Hartford Police Department will hold HR218 LEOSA qualifications for Hartford Police retirees who retired in good standing. The course will include both classroom safety brief and live fire qualifications. Retirees must certify that they meet the standards for a qualified retired law enforcement officer in the HR218 federal statute.
