The City of Hartford shared cold weather protocol information in effect starting noon Friday and continuing into next week encouraging residents to seek warmth and shelter. Warming centers will be open starting on Friday, January 23 and has been extended until February 5th. The City is also supporting overnight warming centers, which residents can utilize throughout the week.

Community Service Officers (CSOs) work proactively in the community, specifically within neighborhoods. They serve as a liaison between various communities, block-watches, faith-based organizations, community businesses, and the police department. They attend community events, meetings and address quality of life issues, such as loitering.
