Please be advised that the Assessor’s Office is temporarily closed for renovations effective Thursday, April 25, 2024 through Monday, June 10, 2024.

During the renovation period, staff will be available to assist residents from the Tax Collector’s office Suite 106 in City Hall.

Officer John Daley

Killed in the line of duty July 29, 1977

Officer John F. Daley served the Hartford Police Department for seven years. On July 29, 1977, Officer Daley was fatally shot during an incident in the Blue Hills neighborhood, where a man was discharging a shotgun from his residence.
