Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration

For this event, the goal is to elevate, empower and entertain.

Elevation – We will highlight and promote local small businesses and entrepreneurs. We will provide the opportunity vend and sell their goods and crafts with the community free of cost.  

Empowerment – This year’s event will feature empowerment zones that provide resources and information centered around 5 key areas for community economic development and the building of generational wealth.

The areas will be

• Financial Literacy and Wellness,
• Education and Job Training,
• Employment,
• Housing, and
• Mental Health & Wellness.

Entertainment - And of course there will be lots of musical, art and cultural entertainment to refuel the mind, body and spirit.
