The Town of West Hartford, in partnership with the City of Hartford, has initiated the Kane and Kennedy Brook Watershed Area Storm Drainage Analysis to address chronic flooding issues and improve stormwater management in a large, interconnected drainage area. The City of Hartford shared cold weather protocol information in effect starting noon Friday and continuing into next week encouraging residents to seek warmth and shelter. Warming centers will be open starting on Friday, January 23 and has been extended until February 5th. The City is also supporting overnight warming centers, which residents can utilize throughout the week.
To contribute to the nutrition and health of vulnerable populations, including children in low-income neighborhoods, and people with disabilities. CACFP make the cost of nutritional meals care more affordable for working families.
