The City of Hartford shared cold weather protocol information in effect starting noon Friday and continuing into next week encouraging residents to seek warmth and shelter. Warming centers will be open starting on Friday, January 23 and has been extended until February 5th. The City is also supporting overnight warming centers, which residents can utilize throughout the week.

The City of Hartford Department of Development Services and Bergmann (now Colliers Engineering and Design) led creation of a community-based plan for the corridors near the Arrowhead Block and Main/Albany/High intersection. This redevelopment strategy, called the Arrowhead Gateway Small Area Plan, will guide future investment, reconnect the neighborhood, and re-establish the area as a destination.
