The Town of West Hartford, in partnership with the City of Hartford, has initiated the Kane and Kennedy Brook Watershed Area Storm Drainage Analysis to address chronic flooding issues and improve stormwater management in a large, interconnected drainage area. CRIA creates a means for refugee and immigrant voices to be heard and understood, facilitate civic engagement among refugees and immigrants, and recognize and legitimize issues of importance to new arrivals. Commissioners monitor & analyze impacts of existing or proposed policies or actions; propose policies and actions to Mayor and Council; make recommendations on services; and issue a report, at least every 2 years, on the state of refugees and immigrants in Hartford.
