The Town of West Hartford, in partnership with the City of Hartford, has initiated the Kane and Kennedy Brook Watershed Area Storm Drainage Analysis to address chronic flooding issues and improve stormwater management in a large, interconnected drainage area. This Commission studies the needs of and coordinates programs for the aging residents of Hartford. Members study the conditions and needs of elderly persons in the community in relation to housing, economic, employment, health, recreational and other matters, analyze the services for the aged provided by public and private agencies in the community, and make recommendations to the Mayor and Council on services
