Please be advised that the Assessor’s Office is temporarily closed for renovations effective Thursday, April 25, 2024 through Monday, June 10, 2024.

During the renovation period, staff will be available to assist residents from the Tax Collector’s office Suite 106 in City Hall.

Killed in the line of duty April 16, 1979

Detective Edward T. Cody served the Hartford Police Department for 26 years. On April 16, 1979, he tragically lost his life in an armored car robbery while serving as a security guard.
