Shirley Surgeon
Shirley is a proud community member serving on the board of Upper Albany Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ), former Hartford Public Library Board member. Born in Jamaica, West Indies and served on the West Indian Foundation.
As a public servant for over 30 years, having served as a City Council Aide. Shirley, was elected as the Registrar of Voters, served as an assistant to former Governor Malloy and is currently an Election Officer in the Secretary of State’s Office.
