The Zoning Board of Appeals hears and decides appeals of zoning orders, requirements, or decisions made by City staff; hears and decides special exemptions and exceptions to the zoning laws; and may vary the application of zoning laws with regard to a parcel of land where literal enforcement would result in exceptional difficulty or unusual hardship

Each commissioner must complete training in the fields of zoning and parliamentary procedure.
The ZBA meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. The application deadline is a month prior to each meeting.

An agenda, "Notice of Public Hearing" for each application, and application documents will be posted 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
