The Hartford Redevelopment Agency establishes and manages Redevelopment Plans which may include rehabilitation, demolition or construction of structures, facilities, streets, parks, and utilities in deteriorated areas in Hartford. To meet the goals for each plan, the HRA may purchase targeted properties through negotiated acquisitions or through the use of eminent domain.
