The Town of West Hartford, in partnership with the City of Hartford, has initiated the Kane and Kennedy Brook Watershed Area Storm Drainage Analysis to address chronic flooding issues and improve stormwater management in a large, interconnected drainage area. This Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council and Mayor concerning the well-being of military veterans in the Hartford area. The Commission evaluates and recommends programs, policies & practices; acts as clearinghouse for information; collects information on needs of veterans; and makes recommendations on increasing awareness of veterans’ needs and contributions, strengthening and expanding services and resources for veterans
