This Commission collects and monitors data concerning environmental issues; explores ways City Government can act in the interests of residents regarding environmental health hazards; makes specific recommendations for action; and seeks and obtains community input on environmental issues.

Majority shall be actively engaged in activities or programs with goals related to improving environmental health. 2 members who represent organizations regulated by DEEP or EPA. Majority must be Hartford residents.
