Explorer program goals are to:

  • Provide career training in the law enforcement
  • Provide social activities
  • Provide community services
  • Provide leadership training
  • Provide training for personal fitness
  • Provide outdoor activities

Qualifications:

  • Be between the ages of 13-20 
  • Maintain a C average at school
  • No police record
  • Complete an oral interview process
  • Be able to attend explorer meetings on a weekly basis
  • Be willing to volunteer time to attend explorer functions

 

Some of the various events that we attend:

  • The Cadet Police Academy
  • Stations Day Competition
  • Community clean ups
  • Community organized events  
  • Dragon Boat racing
  • Six Flags trips
