Frequently Asked Questions

Question Mark.png

Where can I find more information on recreation and summer program opportunities?

The Office for Recreation and Family Services provides opportunities for “playful learning and growing” to the Hartford community. The office offers hands-on learning opportunities that promote physical activity and health and provides reliable, consistent support when youth ask for help at the City’s community and school centers. Visit the MyRec homepage to see 2022 programs.

How do I find out more information on the Youth Services Division? How can they help me?

The Division for Youth Services supports, convenes, strategizes, and collaborates with community partners and stakeholders to ensure that Hartford’s youth, ages nine to 25, have quality opportunities to develop the competencies critical to academic success and workforce development, while also disrupting the pipeline of Youth Justice. Program services can be found here.
