The Finance Department ensures the fiscal integrity of the City of Hartford by exercising due diligence and control over the City's assets and resources.
The department also provides timely and accurate reporting under the guidelines of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Additionally, Finance provides quality service and support to both internal and external customers using sound business principles and a dedication to excellent customer service.

Leigh Ann Ralls, CPA, CCMO
Leigh Ann began working for the City of Hartford in 2006 after working several years in public and municipal accounting. She joined the City of Hartford as Controller managing several key financial processes and reporting. With over 25 years of experience in municipal finance and accounting, Mayor Luke Bronin appointed Leigh Ann to Director of Finance in 2017.
