 Remote Learning Hubs  

 The City of Hartford is partnering with Hartford Public Schools and community organizations to offer learning hub locations across the city. This program is administered by Hartford’s Department of Families, Children, Youth and Recreation and designed for families that selected in-person learning for their children and may be adversely impacted by COVID-19-related facility closures.

To be eligible, your child must:

  • Be a resident of Hartford
  • Be enrolled in in-person kindergarten, first grade, second grade, or third grade and is currently in hybrid or remote-only status
  • Have a working parent/caregiver that meets low to moderate income requirements 

CACFP Form

The CACFP is a federal program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The CACFP provides nutritious meals and snacks to infants and children in child care centers, family day care homes, and emergency shelters; and snacks and suppers to children participating in eligible at-risk afterschool care programs. The CACFP also provides meals and snacks to adults who receive care in nonresidential adult day care centers.

To participate in the Learning Hubs CACFP program please download forms using the links provided and submit the document to the participating child care center.  Please complete one application for each enrolled child. Sign the application and return it to the child care center. If you have any questions feel free to email Celestino Jimenez, Jr. at cjimenez@hartford.gov
