Accreditation
Our centers are accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. NAEYC advances a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and supports all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children. The association comprises nearly 60,000 individual members of the early childhood community and 52 Affiliates, all committed to delivering on the promise of high-quality early learning. Together, its members work to achieve a collective vision: that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential.

Highly Trained Pre-school Teachers
Our teachers are passionate and highly-trained in helping your child learn and grow.
We use touchboards which makes learning more engaging and fun. Our goal is to provide exceptional child care that also focuses on social skills including teaching children respect for others and manners.
Partnership to Success
Throughout the Early Learning Network we maintain a safe and secure environment for the children. We prioritize building strong partnerships with families, recognizing that parental involvement is essential for a child's success.
Our centers provide a space for learning, exploration and growth for each child. Depending on the child’s age, activities vary but a typical day includes:
Morning Activities include free play, where they can explore different toys and materials, as well as structured activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, or building blocks.include free play, where they can explore different toys and materials, as well as structured activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, or building blocks.
Snack and Meal Times allow for nutritious snacks and meals throughout the day making accommodations for children with allergies. Please make sure to let us know of any allergies. Lunch and snacks are provided at no cost to parents.
Outdoor Play provides children with the opportunity to play on playground equipment (weather permitting), or participate in organized games. Outdoor play promotes physical development, gross motor skills, and provides a chance for children to explore their environment.
Learning Activities that include early literacy and math exercises, science experiments, and sensory play. The activities are designed to be age-appropriate and engage children in hands-on learning experiences.
Nap Times take place in a quiet space and comfortable mats or cots. Rest time allows children to recharge and prepare for the remainder of the day.
Afternoon Activities include music and movement, storytelling, or more free play.
It's important to note that each learning center may have its own unique schedule and routines. The activities and structure of the day are typically designed to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for the children in their care.
We work with each family to ensure that each family has access to quality affordable childcare. Funding to support the operations of the Early Learning Network is provided by the State of Connecticut and the City of Hartford. Cost is based on a family’s ability to pay and we work with each family towards this goal. Income guidelines apply and family fees are determined on a sliding scale. All center-based programs are funded through state grants.
Please contact the center closest to you to find out more specific information.
